This web page will be updated regularly to keep our RHFL Church Family & Community Updated
Dear church family,
This past Sunday (March 15), we had an absolutely wonderful Sunday Worship Experience with about 75 people at a public beach in Melbourne Beach. At that time it was an appropriate way to adjust to the recommendations from the CDC as well as our state and local officials. As you know...things are changing very rapidly these days. We feel it is wise to honor our leaders by changing the way we do church. As a result, Rock Harbor will not have any organized 'in-person' of any kind for the perceivable future. We know for sure that we are not going to be allowed in Gemini through April 15th. Easter is on Sunday, April 12th so we will not be at Gemini for sure, however if CDC and government guidelines do allow for smaller gathering to begin again we will go to an alternative location.
As a church we believe that our mission hasn't changed, but only the way that we will do it.
We will continue to:
Share the Good News of Jesus
Care for those that need help
Below are some resources to help you stay engaged with God through Rock Harbor during this time:
Sunday Worship Experience are moving online only...
At 9:30 am, on each upcoming Sunday we will have a video service premiere on Facebook & YouTube for you to join us from wherever you are. We will be continuing our new online sermon series...The Counselor. These message will help us to takes different approach to how we look at Jesus. Rather than being the one with all the answers, Jesus is sometimes the one who asks us questions--questions that force us to decide what we really believe.
In The Counselor, Jesus asks:
"Why are you so afraid?"
"Do you believe I can do this?"
"Do you want to get well?"
"Why do you doubt?"
We are really excited to bring a brand new resource 'online' for everyone connected with Rock Harbor Church. You may already be aware of RightNow Media or this might be your first time hearing about it.
RightNow is like the 'Netflix for Christian Content' with over 20,000 Bible Studies, Teachings, Kid Shows & so much more. As we move into the upcoming weeks we will share with you ways that you can get engaged with our online groups to engage over some of the content that you'll find on Right Now.
Follow the steps on the poster below on how to get connected (please give 48 hours for your account to go active and for you to receive the email to help you 'Get Started') and check out this video to get you excited about having this great resource available to you:
We all have elderly neighbors and others who are at a higher risk right now and through self-isolation are not able to leave the house to safely conduct basic aspects of life. Others are going to become increasingly lonely and isolated.
Let's come together as the church and really love our community. Print off the below card to deliver to your neighbors or provide this digital link online for people to ask for help so we can serve our community.

Get involved with the Rock Harbor Prayer-Chain...
The RHFL Prayer Chain is set-up through Google Groups as an effective way for our church to send out emails to our local church to lift up prayers together.
In fact...I remember the first time I used this was when I was alone in a hospital hallway waiting to be brought into the surgery room where Angie had been rushed to when her delivery of Preston was becoming increasingly difficult. I grabbed my phone and sent out a quick prayer request and I knew that many people would be joining me in prayer almost instantly and then throughout the day.
That's how this works. Once your are a member of the group...all you have to do is send an email to and it is instantly bounced to everyone that has signed up for the Rock Harbor Prayer Chain. Any questions please let me know. Let us pray together!
